The child prodigy Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on January 27, 1756, in Salzburg. Already at the young age of six, he performed in front of Emperor Franz I. and his wife Maria Theresia of Austria, together with his sister Nannerl. He also travelled a lot in Europe to perform in front of audiences. 1779 he was appointed court organist in Salzburg, but two years later he moved to Vienna, where he married Constanze Weber. In 1787, Emperor Joseph II. bestowed the title of “k.k.Kammermusicus“ upon Mozart. On December 5, 1791, he died in Vienna. Mozart composed 50 symphonies, 23 piano concertos and 5 violin concertos, and also some very famous operas, such as “The Magic Flute“, “The Marriage of Figaro“ and “Cosí fan tutte“.
